Recreational Program
Our Recreational Program runs like a school year, from September to May, and will perform in our annual recital. Our 2026-2027 Fall Registration is now open!
3-4 year olds | 45 minutes, once a week
Girls and Boys are introduced to ballet and tap. They will be participating in actives to teach them coordination and social skills. The students will learn a ballet and tap dance that will be performed in one recital in the spring.
Shoes: Pink Ballet & Tan Tap Shoes
4-5 year olds | 45 minutes, once a week

5-6 year olds | 1-hour class, once a week
Girls and Boys will learn proper technique in all three forms of dance: Ballet, Jazz, and Tap. Dancers will learn basic techniques and skills, focusing on skill development and combination memorization. These classes will perform 3 dances in our spring dance recital.

6-8 yr olds | 1-hour class, once a week

7-9 yr olds | 1-hour class, once a week

9-11 year olds | 1 hour 15 min class, once a week
Girls and Boys will learn proper technique in all three forms of dance: Ballet, Jazz, and Tap. Dancers will learn basic techniques and skills, focusing on skill development and combination memorization. These classes will perform 3 dances in our spring dance recital.

Teens | 1 hour 30 min class, once a week
Girls and Boys will learn proper technique in all three forms of dance: Ballet, Jazz, and Tap. Dancers will learn basic techniques and skills, focusing on skill development and combination memorization. These classes will perform 3 dances in our spring dance recital.
Shoes: Pink Ballet, Tan Jazz Shoes, and Black Tap Shoes
Hip Hop - 45-minute classes once a week
Ages 5-6, 7-10 & 11+
Fun and upbeat dance class geared at learning the latest moves and grooves performed that are all age-appropriate. This class will perform one dance in our spring recital.
Shoes: Clean Tennis Shoes - specific color will be determined based on costume choice.
Registration Fee and 1st Month Tuition due at time of registration. Fees are non-refundable or transferable. Intrepid Dance Company reserves the right to make adjustments to the current schedule based on enrollment. A 30-day written notice is due to discontinue all lessons, and all fees that occurred within that month are still due.) Billing takes place between the 18th and 20th of each month when you are enrolled in our Fall Program (Sept to May).
A Recital Fee is charged in April, and communication on the exact date will be communicated to families throughout the Fall Season.Additional Information:Some classes, days, and times will fill quickly. We do recommend that you register prior to our open house to ensure you get the day and time that works for you! Schedule subject to change based on enrollment.
The class schedule is subject to change based on needs and enrollment.Should you cancel prior to the start of the season, a $35.00 flate fee will be charged to your account.Intrepid Dance Company reserves the right to convert to an online platform at any time, per government recommendations. There is no refund or credit for canceled classes or classes that are moved to a virtual platform.
